Adobe Lightroom (we’re talking about the more fully featured ‘Classic’ version) is the image management and editing tool of choice for most professional photographers, and for good reason.

As well as providing a huge array of professional editing capabilities, Lightroom organises, stores and catalogues all your images, so no more juggling different versions. The platform is bursting with functionality that will allow you to create stunning photos while giving you great efficiently to your workflow.

But while easy to use, Lightroom is also a complex platform and to allow you to use all its power to take your work to the new level you need a guide; it’s not just the functionality, but how to use it creatively and correctly that makes the difference.

Get your images under control and learn professional editing to take your photography to a new level.

This workshop can be delivered over a single session, or split up into convenient smaller sessions and it runs either in person or over Zoom.

Overview

lightroom-training.jpg

Most photography education courses will aim to give you all the information in a tidal-wave of content with the hope some of it sticks. Arguably this is little better than YouTube and if that worked then everyone would be a professional photographer. My approach is different. With targeted, one-to-one mentoring of attendees we build up the knowledge and skills at a pace drive by you, which will allow you to reach a much higher level of expertise. We believe not only is this the best way of learning, but the best use of your investment – you want to spend it once, and then leave with all the skills you need, built-in.

Each new area is backed up with actual practical sessions so you leave with an intuitive understanding which will allow you to share incredible images with family, friends or clients.

Unique to Nick Church Photography Education courses is the mentoring experience day. This involves accompanying Nick Church to a shoot, or to spend time experiencing the editing workflow.

The way Nick explained things is just brilliant. He is really clear, patient and knowledgeable and manages to keep it fun and upbeat. During the day we skipped a lot of the stuff I knew, and focussed on the areas I was less confident in, this flexibility was really appreciated. My confidence on shoots is now so much higher, and I feel in control of my camera for the first time, rather than it controlling me! I am calmer and more able to deal with client interactions and my bookings have increased as a result. Thank you so so much Nick
