We hit the jackpot... images to inspire memories for years to come

I have always felt that a wedding photographer is one of the most important bookings to make for your big day – and didn’t we hit the jackpot! We spent the first few weeks of wedding planning carefully looking through suggested photographers online, viewing their portfolios and receiving quotes. The portfolios of other wedding photographers we had seen were often traditional and sometimes over-edited, which didn’t appeal to us. Nick’s website at the time showed a collection of striking photographs of Bristol, as well as an emerging portfolio of wedding photography. What stood out to us was the crisp, well lit, relaxed and fun style of his wedding photographs. What sealed the deal was Nick’s approachable, enthusiastic and professional communication and we knew then that he would be perfect.

Over the months before the wedding, we met with Nick and talked through our plans for the day. Neither me nor my husband had any specific requests for photographs (apart from the usual family shots) and had a number of questions about the art of the possible. Nick was extremely patient, accommodating and creative in helping us think about the types of photographs we wanted and some potential locations for shots. We grew increasingly excited as the wedding day came around, keeping track of Nick’s rising popularity and his accolades in wedding photography!

The wedding day was beautifully sunny, with clear blue skies – fantastic for us… but the type of weather that makes a photographer’s job more challenging! Nick worked effortlessly to find perfect locations and capture a stunning collection of family, candid and newlywed photographs. We knew the photos would be good, but we were absolutely blown away by each breathtaking image! We’re eagerly awaiting the delivery of the album that Nick has designed for us, using our favourites from the day.

We can’t thank Nick enough for capturing the beautiful images that will inspire memories for years to come!
